At the Cross 227

Verse 1

Alas! and did my Savior bleed And did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I?

At the Cross 227

Chorus

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!

At the Cross 227

Verse 2

Was it for crimes that I had done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity! grace unknown! And love beyond degree!

At the Cross 227

Chorus

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!

At the Cross 227

Verse 3

Well might the sun in darkness hide And shut his glories in, When Christ, the mighty Maker died, For man the creature’s sin.

At the Cross 227

Chorus

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!

At the Cross 227

Verse 4

But drops of grief can ne’er repay The debt of love I owe: Here, Lord, I give my self away ’Tis all that I can do.

At the Cross 227

Chorus

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!

Above All

Verse 1

Above all powers, above all kings Above all nature and all created things Above all wisdom and all the ways of man You were here before the world began

Above All

Verse 2

Above all kingdoms, above all thrones Above all wonders the world has ever known Above all wealth and treasures of the earth There's no way to measure what You're worth

Above All

Chorus

Crucified, laid behind a stone You lived to die, rejected and alone Like a rose trampled on the ground You took the fall and thought of me Above all

Blessed Redeemer 218

Verse 1

Up Calv’ry’s mountain, one dreadful morn, Walked Christ my Savior, weary and worn, Facing for sinners death on the cross, That He might save them from endless loss.

Blessed Redeemer 218

Chorus

Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer! Seems now I see Him on Calvary’s tree, Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading— Blind and unheeding—dying for me

Blessed Redeemer 218

Verse 2

“Father, forgive them!” thus did he pray, E’en while His lifeblood flowed fast away, Praying for sinners while in such woe— No one but Jesus ever loved so.

Blessed Redeemer 218

Chorus

Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer! Seems now I see Him on Calvary’s tree, Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading— Blind and unheeding—dying for me

Blessed Redeemer 218

Verse 3

O how I love Him, Savior and friend! How can my praises ever find end! Thru years unnumbered on heaven’s shore, My tongue shall praise Him for evermore.

Blessed Redeemer 218

Chorus

Blessed Redeemer, precious Redeemer! Seems now I see Him on Calvary’s tree, Wounded and bleeding, for sinners pleading— Blind and unheeding—dying for me
